Featured Songs are “Drop A Line” from Jessie G, “Something To Believe In” from JJ Shiplett, and “Float Your Boat” from Ryan Follese.

Jessie G is a new country artist. Her debut single is “Drop A Line”. The song was produced by Gretchen Wilson! fortherecord.com compares the song to Miranda Lambert’s “Gunpowder and Lead” and “Redneck Woman” from Gretchen Wilson. I could not agree more. You can read their entire article here.It is a great song that does remind me of those songs. She co-wrote the song with Joshua Withenshaw and Davis Branch. I think this is just the beginning of a great career.

JJ Shiplett is a singer-songwriter out of Calgary. This is from his debut EP titled “The E.P.”, which has already been in the top 5 on the Canada Country Album Charts. He has been compared to Bruce Spingsteen and Chris Stapleton. This is a powerful debut. I recommend everyone check out the EP.

“Float Your Boat” from Ryan Follese is a very catchy tune. It has a great rhythm and carefree sound. I like how the song encourages you to do what you want to do. It is a great summer tune. You might recognize his voice because Ryan is the frontman for Hot Chelle Rae, who had a number one hit with “Tonight Tonight”.
