Featured Songs are “Cool” from Twinnie Lee Moore, “Rewind” from Southern Halo, and “Love Triangle’ from RaeLynn

There are a couple of tracks this time that deserve some extra attention. I really like the new single “Cool” from Twinnie Lee Moore. The song has a great melody and I like the meaning of the song. It is love lost, but it discusses how difficult it is to deal with a breakup. Her voice is powerful and delivers the song beautifully. Twinnie Lee Moore is an up and coming country pop singer from England. She is an actress on the British Soap Hollyoaks.

I am also impressed by the new single from Southern Halo. Southern Halo is a sister trio hailing from Cleveland, Mississippi. 18 year old Natalia is the lead vocal for the group, 17 year old Christina is the drummer, and 16 year old Hannah is the bassist. Natalia has written with Mike Daly, and SESAC’s 2012 Writer of the Year Catt Gravitt and others. The trio is amazing and they harmonize beautifully. Their debut radio single “Little White Dress” is upbeat and fun. It is sure to be a hit for weddings this year. Check it out if you have a chance. However, this week, I am impressed by their new single “Rewind.” This song takes you back to how it things were in the past. It is impressive since it is coming from such young artists. The song is written by Catt Gravitt, Chancie Neal, and Gerald O’Brien. The subject matter would probably fit an older artist, but these ladies knock it out of the park! The song is worth downloading.

I also like the new single “Love Triangle” from RaeLynn. RaeLynn first hit the seen with her hit “God Made Girls”. She has released a few singles since then. This new single “Love Triangle” is different from what I am used to hearing from her. This song is about divorce. It is a tough subject and RaeLynn does an excellent job expressing how it is in this song. It is heartfelt and it might be a tearjerker for some. I think it is an amazingly powerful song from this young artist.
