We are truly unique when compared to most mobile DJ companies in that our wedding coordinator assists with many aspects of wedding planning and also provides Day-of Coordination. If you have already hired a wedding planner, event coordinator, or Day-of Coordinator, Merik Music might not be the best fit for your event. Packages are priced based upon hiring a wedding coordinator and DJ together. Services cannot be separated, so please evaluate this before paying Merik Music the deposit for your event. We are equipped and experienced to handle your ceremony and reception. DJ Merik is excellent at reading the crowd and making sure everyone has a great time! Merik Music is fully insured. We can provide proof of insurance to any venue to protect them and you. This is required for some venues.
We will secure songs for your event within reason. This will be discussed with you prior to the event. We require a $300 deposit to reserve your day. This day is about you and we do everything we can to make sure that your day goes exactly how you've always hoped, dreamed, and envisioned. We are experienced at being the Master of Ceremonies (MC) and Day-of Coordinator for your event. We will make sure everything flows properly so that you can enjoy one of the greatest days of your lives.
It is important to have quality coordination and entertainment for your wedding. DJ Merik and Melissa will ensure that your wedding is organized, guests are well informed, music is enjoyed by all, and that the ceremony and reception are everything you envisioned. We offer two packages: one is for the ceremony and reception and the other is reception only. All packages include all equipment required to provide quality entertainment for your event along with all wedding coordination services provided by Melissa. Merik Music feels that every wedding deserves the same quality of service regardless of the guest count or the cost of the venue.
Most Wedding Vendors require you to contact them before you're able to find out what they charge. Merik Music wants to be your wedding DJ, so we have made it possible and easy for you to find out immediately if we are available for your event and what it will cost.

All I have to say is that if you are looking for a great DJ service where service is top notch Merik Music is who you need to talk to. My wife and I hired Melissa and Chad to DJ our wedding and after just the first meeting we were sold. I can honestly say that with their "Day of Coordination" that they offer, it made our day soooooooo much easier and stress free. They took so much time to get to know what was important to us and made our ideas become reality. Definitely give them a call and sit down with them if you are looking for a professional D.J. service. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Merik Music did a wonderful job at our wedding...we could not have asked for a better DJ team. Melissa and Chad truly love what they do, and it shows in their performance. You can talk to them about any topic that concerns you, and they will do their best to make sure that the topic is no longer a concern. They will make sure that your day goes smoothly, and how you envision your wedding day. Chad and Melissa will make sure everything flows in a timely fashion (which is HUGE!). They are very organized and professional, and they are the best team to have beside you on your wedding day.
I will refer Merik Music to anyone who needs a DJ and we will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you, Chad & Melissa for all that you did for us....it means the world to us.

It's hard to overstate how incredible Merik Music was for my wedding! Honestly, I was worried that as reasonably as they were priced, there had to be something wrong. NOPE! Perfect DJ at an extremely reasonable price.
First of all, they agreed to meet and sit down with me just to introduce themselves and get to know me. I really appreciated that. Then, when I was planning and sending them extremely long and detailed notes, they read them completely and listened to everything I told them. When it came time to pay, they made payment extremely easy and the deposit to book them was only $50.
At my actual wedding, they set up two sound systems because my ceremony and reception were apart from one another. At the ceremony, they played music and provided mics for sound. At the reception, they played a great mix of music (including all of the requests I wanted) and truly ran the show. They were the perfect team, using the timeline I sent them to run the whole night and make sure it went on time or was delayed if we needed. Numerous people came up to me and commented on how the mix of dance music was great, even people who usually aren't huge dance people.
Melissa is the sweetest person. I love that she takes extra photos and sends all of them to you. Chad was a great DJ. If you are considering booking them, DO IT! If you have already booked them, don't worry about a thing!
